Sailing on Lake Mendota

Last Saturday we went sailing with an old Madison friend, Barry. Barry is dear to my heart since he came to party at my house with Eric the night we fell in love. It was an interesting evening and my life has not been the same since.

This was only our second time sailing ever and both times have been with Barry. It was a breezy day in the 70s and perfect for sailing, at least that is what Barry said. We sailed across the lake and stopped at the UW-Madison Union Terrace and had something to eat. Then we sailed back across as the sun set.

Editing these photos was a little challenging since there were so many that I liked. Additionally, I accidently shot in JPGs. I am used to editting my photos in Raw, but it was a good learning experience.

Hiking at Blue Mounds State Park

A couple weeks ago (I am so behind on photo editing and sharing), I spent some time with myself hiking at this nearby state park. It was lovely and mostly hiking and nature focussed rather than photography focused, but I have a few I wanted to share.

This tree was so cool looking. I see an old man praying, complete with glasses and moustache. Do you see him?
